Hi!  You have a Wallendorf Porcelain figurine made in Germany.  The porcelain makers' mark on the piece was used between 1964 and 1990  The market is rather soft right now for items like this - if you wait a bit hopefully values will go up.

This style was very popular in the 1940-50-'s.  And....is still liked today.

From the pictures it looks to be a compact mirror to carry in a purse or pocket!

It's gorgeous.  Wish I knew more about walking sticks.  Hopefully someone will pipe up about this!

I'll ask a friend that collects them and get back to you.

Hi Raven31557!
Nice family piece.
Wish I could help you out with that - but the sentimental/familial value is the greatest.

Are there any markings on it?

Can you please post a picture.  We would need to see the pattern, condition, etc.

Thank you!

Hello!  Nice piece of history!
You are better off leaving as is.
However, if you want to brush off with a soft cloth any dust/dirt.
You can try to gently clean the surface with a damp soft cloth.  If it isn't removing any dirt that you care to  remove you can try a bit of gentle/mild soap with water.  Be aware that rigorous cleaning can remove paint and finishes which will devalue your item.

Antique Questions Forum / Mart - UPDATE FOR ANTIQUE-SHOP FAMILY
« on: January 05, 2024, 12:16:50 pm »
Hello All!

Just wanted to give an update for our loved Mart.  Mart hasn't been on with us for a while as she has been tending to the love of her life while he has been sick.  Unfortunately her husband passed away on December 29.

Please keep her and the rest of the family in your prayers as they learn to maneuver life without Sam.  Praying all of the wonderful memories will help them in the days ahead.

NOTE:  A plant has been sent to the funeral on behalf of the Antique-Shop Family

The only other place I found an imprinted jug  https://www.gumtree.com/for-sale/home-garden/gardening-patio-furniture/garden-building-decoration/pots-ornaments/uk/hucknall

Hardy Kimberley Brewery History.  If Hanson isn't noted on it - then it is before 1930.  Most likely Victorian!

However, I did find this license for them dated 1961!

I'm sure it is worth something....just cannot find another one that is made with imprints.  Have found many with painted logos.

Where are you located? (country/area)

Ooohhhhhh!  Nice set of antique/vintage fruit knives with stand.
These are still a popular luxury item and the market is down some at this time.  But...I propose it will be back up within a couple of years.
Just the family connection increases the value of these - on a sentimental level.

I agree that you did a great job and increased the value.  In my area this would go for $80 to $125 easy!
