Title: WORKING Philco Model 41-285 Floor Radio
Post by: Lemin on May 22, 2010, 04:52:43 pm
I bought a radio from a garage sale a year ago for $60. Didn't know if it worked but I'm an impulsive buyer and it was in decent condition for a WWII antique.
I have browsed the web and seen people selling similar, non-working models for anywhere from $50-$260. I've plugged it in, turned it on, and picked up AM radio with no smoke or fire. I really don't know much about the actual value of these radios, so I'm hoping someone here might be able to give me at least a ballpark estimate given the provided info.

Here are a few photos.

I am a patient person so please answer at your convenience. If you know of any people/places in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area that may be interested in purchasing this radio that information can be discussed via PM. Thank you.
