Wow, a great read for sure and I've come across that site before and again it proves helpful. Wonder what $2 in 1906 would get you in 2012  :o.

Would you guys think it a value add then based on these notes to get the hands repaired or keep it as is? MelD

Thanks for the prompt reply and yes the clock is in rough shape. I do still love it though. My files were too large but I've got a link below. Can you see them via that? Thanks again! MelD

I recently acquired this as a gift from a dear friend. Try as I may (and boy have I tried) to find one like it, I'm coming up short. I've been able to find info on the manufacturer but not this particular clock. Anyone out there that can help me I'd really appreciate it.
Small only about 5"-6" tall
Solid, heavy, Brass or Gold?
Cherub atop it and ornate carvings detail the exterior
The face is of white and shows hours And seconds
Scribed on clock face is JoB with a "c" surrounding
The back lists- Patented May 6, 1890 Dec 23, 1890 and Jan 13, 1891along with The Jennings Bros Manufacturing Company
The bottom lists - J.B. 701 Patn'd June 13, 1899

I'm not sure how to fi d anything specific to worth, information on 3-4 different dates, or details on The Jennings Bros catalogue details. Anyone that can help out there?
Thanks! MelD
