KC I don't think I'm a purist when it comes to anything   LOL     Often I use the term Canary glass for "Vaseline" glass too  but that is a much older reference. Both have Uranium but it is how some separate the Yellow / green color in natural light. There is also glass colored with uranium  custard glass and Burmese glass but they are opaque  canary, uranium glass is transparent. Simply just a term that has been used to separate yellow from green.  I try not to make it rocket science LOL  :)

Your Uranium glass set with the butterflies (vasaline is not green) was made by Sowerby Glass located in England approx 1930
Will search your other dresser set later on :)

Antique Questions Forum / Re: Nippon what is it?

Yes,  KC & when used for condensed milk, the milk was firm but would sweat so the condensation would run out of the hole onto the under plate to be discarded.

This Lotus bowl was designed by Wayne Husted after he left Blenko glass  It was produced by Viking glass & came in many colors. Value in current market around $10.00. Very pretty piece!   :)

These were used to conceal jelly jars or other condiment jars, for a elegant look ,you pushed jar up & out by sticking your finger into the hole of the plane jar as not to spill it. Also used for holding condensed milk but usually had an under plate.

Antique Questions Forum / Re: Hand painted mug ??

Your piece comes from the Jean Pouyat family   one of the oldest names connected with the Limoges porcelain industry. Beginning ca. 1760s
The mark places this Ca. 1890 - 1932   It is hand painted The artist signature on the side is Emile & noted as such in my reference books. ( Possibly Emile Pouyat) This would have come with a Tankard & mugs to match Like the attached photo. I would place a value for your single mug approx. $30.00 - $70.00  of course if someone had the tankard & needed more mugs to complete their set it could go for more. :)

These are Hand Painted Milk Glass plates,   I have a book on Milk glass in my Library but were I have not been using my "antique" library regularly I can't put my fingers on it!!   So I am unable to place a maker or date but this may help in your search :)
