I just wanted to say that some do read this topic. I commend those that answer the questions. I also want to say that anybody that just joined any group is a newbie. That people had no reason to be upset by that. It just means that we might need a little more guidance.

I agree!  Research first.
I do have a question about the error messages that have occurred yesterday and this am.
I do not want to duplicate any posting and waste space and people's time by a duplicate post.

When the post has been completed, and pictures are uploaded, and the "Post" button is clicked,
I get an error message. Can I assume it will post anyway? It did so this am but not sure why the error messages are coming up?
Thanks!

Sometimes error messages are part of problem with the network.  Another common error can be posting too many pictures or pictures that are too  large.

I just want to chime in and say that for a "newbie" member this has been by far the best forum I have ever posted too!  You guys are awesome!  Thank you for being here for all of our questions no matter if we like the answer or not we are getting very knowledgeable advice.  BTW I have had no issues with advice given to me personally I was speaking in general.  Keep it coming guys!  Thanks!

Thanks for being an active part of the forum Jlserf!!!  You could very well be one of the "weathered oldies" like us if you stick around (instead of a newbie)!  :)

If anyone has any major problems please also select "report to moderator" and we will get back to you asap!

Happy New Year!

KC I love this forum!  I am reading old post and learning.  Just wish the pictures weren't gone in the older ones but I did read how that happened.  I could only hope to be as knowledgeable as you all here.  Someone already gave me a karma point!  Thanks!

Help ! When I try to post something to the Antique Questions Forum a message saying unable to post, website does not exist or has been moved, I try again and same thing, then I checked and my post is on twice.  I can't remove one of them either.  Sigh,,being a newbie sucks lol

Hello,
I have a set of 8 dining room chairs. I cannot find one anywhere to compare it to. I am trying to price and date them. Several have the marks "XXVIIII", or different combinations.  I cant send a picture, so if you could help me in some other way. Thanks!

Numbers on furniture mean very little !!  Is there a problem posting pics ??  Can you find a similar chair on the internet you can give a link to ??  Any history you know would be helpful but post on the Q&A forum,, no one looks here !!
