Title: cary london fusee clock
Post by: rrdd123 on November 28, 2011, 11:59:04 am
I recently purchased a Brass clock that is signed to the dial CARY LONDON. I have tried to research this clock and have only found CARY as scientific instrument makers in the 18th & 19th century although I do believe they may have made chronometers.

So I thought I would pick the brains of the best.

The clock is heavy brass weighing 7.5kg 11" x 7.5" x 4.5"

It has a platform escapement and a fusee movement.

I have enclosed a couple of photos and would appreciate your opinion on it
