Title: Lifton Japan Gold Trimmed Wall Planter

I have no idea what to call this and can't kind it anywhere. Any help?

The company is called Lefton,  George Zoltan Lefton imported  into the US  pottery, porcelain , and glass  from Japan to America through his company. I would consider this a candle wall sconce if the bowl is small hard to tell from the photo. Hope this helps in your search.  :)

Try looking for "wall pockets" !!  There are many different styles and makers but Lefton was one that is most available on the market !! Many of these were used as accent pieces for a central wall piece !! Such as on either side of a painting or print !!
