Can`t see the small pic but if this is one of those modern sets that are sold on TV,, I would not buy it at all !!  Or at least not with the intent of it increasing in value as a collectable !!  Who did the set come from ??  Most all of those have so little gold or silver that its almost not worth buying for melt !!

I would not purchase this set !!  Both of the listings you gave are BIN  so you can`t tell if anyone is even interested and they can ask whatever price they want,,,getting it is a totally different matter !!  Find me buyers that have paid those prices in this economy and I will reconsider !!  I would not even buy it to resell !!

If your items are 'solid silver' , they should have a quality 'mark' that designates the purity of the silver , such as : .925 , .999 .

The bottom line on it's worth , at the worst case , would be a fairly current market value for the weight of it's pure silver !

Sometimes it's tough to sell recent 'private-minted' items to collectors , who most often go for government coinage/etc that tends to be a little older vintage  (IMO) ... perhaps there's buyers out there , omniart , and all the best in findin' one !
