Title: Pair of A.Dellaux brass enamelled vases
Post by: chonji on February 20, 2012, 02:59:20 pm
Hi all,

Anbody add some more detail on these vases? I have some info regarding the name but am interested to hear any further

background or biography detail / information on the artist plus quality of the vase?,

The flowers appear to be water lillies and there are dragonflies, I beleive it to be art deco, I have a pair of these

vases and also a set of very similar enamelled plates with a ring on the bases that servers as a stand, the plates are

unmarked but the design is almost identical, albeit a bit brighter in colour perhaps they are not as old. Or is it

posssible they all go together?

I have a pair of the vases, good quality and certainly appear aged, one of them also has a small sticker saying made in

India, which strikes me as incongrous.
