Title: Vintage Heavy Chrome Plated Mack Bulldog?

Here's another recent purchase that I can't find another one like but I should be able to (I'm assuming it's vintage). It's a Heavy Chrome Plated Bulldog that has a Collar on him that says "MACK". He is about 5 Inches Long and about 3 Inches Tall and weighs about 2 Pounds (1 Pound 13.6 Ounces).

I assume he is from Mack Trucks but have looked at their online store and can't find one like it. I also searched the networks and the auction sites but they have mostly hood ornaments, nothing like this. Has anyone seen another one like this or know when it may have been made, who made it (I assume Mack) and perhaps a neighbor hood value?

It's not a hood ornament but rather a paperweight. It was put out by Mack sometime around 1960s I think. Figure in the neighborhood of $20-$40 give or take. Here's a pewter one.

That's the Bulldog rockandrollrods, thanks for finding him! I thought he might be vintage from the 60's or 70's.

No problem. Your's is way cooler looking than the p[pewter one though.

Bulldogs have been very popular since the 1920's.  I have one I will be posting in the next week that I need help on....I know it was from the 1920's!
