Title: more junk...as Avril calls it

I, just love Mondays....for some its Oh, No,..the start of another working week,....but for us retirees..its another day for the charity shop troll,...and as you can see,i,ve been busy....got these 3 German Bier Steins..the small one is a glazed pottery one...with a nice relief finish..with Koln am Rhein on it ...with Western Germany on the base...which indicates that it was made between 1945 and 1989..the one in the middle...is a modern one with transfer printed scenes of Amberg...which is a small town in Bayern.or Bavaria as its called outwith Germany....it has 2006 on the front...The large one with the lid, is again from Amberg...this one has a rough glaze finish which tells me it is not a transfer....the lid has 95% zinn stamped on it, and the back stamp is from a manufacturer in Bavaria...i paid £10 for all three,...I am going to Baptize the big one tonight...with some nice Weiser bier....

Someday you'll have to give us a visual/virtual tour of the wull/avril digs! I'm sure it's filled with fascinating things.
