Title: 1890 Steamer "hat trunk"
Post by: ptope67 on December 24, 2012, 04:57:02 am
I was wondering if anyone knows information on the hat trunk labels.  I purchased a steamer trunk also known as a hat trunk.  I cannot find a manufacturers marking but there is a picture label inside of a man standing next to a bull.  Any info on maker labels would be greatly appreciated.

Believe this is an exact pic as your trunk - farmer with oxen

Maybe they can help you out.  They state they rare saw flat top trunks with pics...in addition, pics with men in them are rarer to find versus animals, etc.
