Title: Vase/urn

I bought this urn/vase today. I paid $5.00 at a garage sale .
The stamp underneath says Masons patent ironstone china.
no other markings.Is it old? What is the design called?
Is it a fake?

At first glance it looks fake. The design is bizarre and the base looks new - would like an image of the whole base please.

Yes, it looks new. I'd say you got a fair deal for $5.00.
