Title: Antique Sideboard Identification?
Post by: jfilm on March 16, 2013, 12:08:49 am
Hello,
I have an old sideboard given to me about 30 years ago.  I can't find any markings or identification on it, and so I'm hoping someone out there might have a general idea of how old it might be, and how much it might be worth.  Or any info as to where to look on it to identify it.  Thanks!

The shape of the legs on your sideboard pretty much dates it. Matching tables and china cabinets have same leg style.

Go to Google "images" and search for ..... Depression era sideboards (buffets, tables, chairs, furniture

Yep, looks like a walnut Jacobean revival sideboard ca. 1940. In good shape probably worth about $200, depending.
