Title: ID help with this bowl with Roosevelt quote

Hi,
I don't have a clue on this and I am struggling to find anything online. Maybe I am not entering the correct words for the search. This could be newer or it could be older.
I thought may a little older.  ???
The reverse says
"when you get to the end of your rope tie a knot and hang on"  "Eleanor Rossevelt"
And a signature that I can't ID.

The letters are etched into the bowl
1 3/4 hgh
6 1/2 across
Any help will be appreciated.

Won't be much help but........that quote was by F.D. not Eleanor :(

Is it pottery ??  Can you get a pic of the signature only ??  If I read right it did say Elenore Roosevelt !!

The above is exactly what is written. Definitely Eleanor is the name on it
The bowl is ceramic (pottery).
And all the words on the back are etched into the bowl.
On the obverse of the bowl the image  of the woman, cloud, and the white line around the image are also etched  into the bowl.

Sgraffito is a pretty common way to decorate pottery !!  This is interesting !!  The Jazz Bowl was made for Eleanor Roosevelt  !! You might find it interesting reading !!  Read the one at Smithsonianmag .com !!

I had seen the Jazz bowls and quite amazing. And interesting. It will probably take a little time to pin this one down.

You`re right !!  Can`t tell who the signature is but will look more !!
