Title: Maine 4 old sled
Post by: efoyt on September 25, 2013, 03:14:42 pm
Ok...so I'm helping my dad and uncle take care of my grandfathers estate.  So any help identifying or putting a price on the items I'm listing would be very helpful.  Also where to sell them would be helpful.
Thanks, Ethan

Old sled

One brand name those steel runner sleds was called "flexible flyer".

Really?  I thought adults had all the fun?  :P

All of ours are from my better half's family cabin in California (where it snows) from when he was a kid and would accommodate 2 kids sitting up or 1 lying down.  Making one of ours into a glass top coffee table!  If I had one that small I would also make a side table!  :)

Well, my husband can account for that. I think HE has just as much fun sledding as my son.  :D

As for the sled, not sure how much it's worth. Looks older than the Flexible flyers that I see around a lot. I know those can go for around $50-70 around here, depending on condition. We picked a really nice one up for $30. It wasn't Flexible Flyer brand, but it has a really nice original paint job and name on it. (can't recall what it was called now......)
