Title: Two miniature trays

Hi all! Been awhile...
buried in snow and ice (MN)
Does anyone recognize these little glass trays? No idea what they were used for, nor who made them??
They are a reverse painted tray. Shallow about 1/4 inch deep, and 3  1/2 by 2  3/4 in.
Handpainted with gold - gilt trim.

And a standard business card is slightly smaller than that !!  I think they went on the desk for business cards !!

I had some similar just different pics !! I think they are mid century or so !!
