Title: any info about this plate

I think it is a meat plate but I'm not sure. I can not figure out the date and maker because I'm not a expert . is it chinese import???

It's marked Copeland Spode.  I'm pretty sure they didn't import china as they were a major manufacturer.  Sorry to be so brief, but I'm running out the door, but wanted to make sure you got some quick help.  GG

Copeland Spode platter made in March 1895. Looks like great condition.
