I think it is a meat plate but I'm not sure. I can not figure out the date and maker because I'm not a expert . is it chinese import???

It's marked Copeland Spode. I'm pretty sure they didn't import china as they were a major manufacturer. Sorry to be so brief, but I'm running out the door, but wanted to make sure you got some quick help. GG
