These two pieces of furniture have been in my family for over 100 years and I have not been able to find any information related to them. They are in excellent condition and have been very well taken care of.
Love seat from great room.

This piece we called the music cabinet but that may be just because my Aunt kept her sheet music inside. There appears to be a shadow in the picture but the curved glass on the door, side and those that make the shelves on the right side, are all intact, no cracks.

This reminds me of an antique "side-by-side" cabinet which typically have a desk element. But yours DEFINITELY has a music sheet element to it! NICE!
Let's see what someone else chimes in on this one. Are there any tags, stamps, etc on it anywhere?
Sheet music cabinets were the craze in the mid 1800's onwards to around 1920. They can be plain to flat-out fancy. Yours is a very unique and nice piece! Sheet music was usually made wider than the bench seats that came about and prior to that they were small round claw foot stools. So the cabinet was made to keep the coveted music sheets clean and crisp (without bends or folds).

Thank you. My grandmother was very fond of it as well. I would like to keep it forever but need to downsize on larger pieces of furniture and hope to find a good home for these pieces but want to have more info.
The only label that I could find is very dry on the back and pieces of the paper have fallen off over time. No dates or anything that i can locate.

Without being there and looking at the music/curio cabinet I can only give a best guess at date !! My opinion is its likely around 1880 or so !! Could be before or after there is really no way to tell exactly even with a hands on exam !! Its Victorian in style with a slight French influence and probably made of mahogany or walnut !! It is a nice piece and looks like it has been well kept !! Value is not as high for these as one would expect but should bring $1500. to $1800.
The settee is Eastlake style and probably 1910 or so !! You can find these in many configurations !! Value for it between $500. and $750. depending on where you are located !!

Sofa`s Design is similar to Scandinavian antique furniture that I`ve seen on antique auctions.

The cabinet would be late Victorian / Edwardian in the UK. Those Sheraton or Adams style swags became synonymous with Edwardian furniture. Swags, trophies. Honesty was another popular design. Style though is more late Victorian so c1900 is a good date.
