Title: Change Ebay password(s) today ....
Post by: fancypants on May 21, 2014, 10:21:42 am
According to Ebay , folks are requested to change their password(s) today , due to hackers getting into several employee accounts , which could affect other user accounts .
"They" say that PayPal accounts have not been affected , however .

Just a little heads-up , for those who've not heard that news !

I guess here in Texas it is being broadcast that it is only into Ebay accounts.

Funny how Ebay didn't sent notice or when I got on the site there wasn't anything noted!  :/

I got an email from eBay stating they had been breached. What annoyed me was my debit card had just been breached 3 weeks ago. the bank contacted me. They need to come up with some really harsh punishments for these thieves!

I got one as well Mart.

However, if for some reason you didn't, when you open up your Ebay page, notice at the very top left/middle section - there is a Orange box that says PASSWORD UPDATE and there should be a blinking "ad" on the page as well about it.

Changed mine yesterday.
