Do not know why !! Could be because I am on dial up and the pics are too large !! Every time I try to look at them my computer freezes and locks me out of all sites !! Had to restart to get back here !! I couldn`t even reply to your post !! Sorry for taking up space folks but would like to see the chest !! Sounds like a good find !!

What size are they now ?? Still are huge although my computer didn`t crash !! May take a while to load these !!

OOPS, there are 2 sizes , .... one is the dimension width/length in inches ... and the other is pixel density .... kilobytes verses megabytes (high resolution).
When one uses "save a copy" to make a duplicate of the photo and selects "for e-mail or web" ....... it reduces both of those sizes for quicker xmission and for easier viewing.

Mart, you are such a hoot!!!!!!! You and your dial up just crack me up! I empathize with you...but at the same time would miss your dial-up terribly if you didn't have it. It has been an ongoing "challenge" "humorous happening" over the years! :)

Humorous to you maybe !! A pain in the_XXX_posterior to me !! Good thing this site doesn`t have sound or my Texas English would be blasted world wide !! Someone said I could use a wifi system but I have no idea what that is how, or if it would work here !!

Do you have cell phone service? do you have a smart phone? If you answered yes then you most likely can get WiFi.

Oh yes,, we have a cell phone,,,just not a smart phone !! Regular old flip phone !! I hate all the gadgets that I do not know how to use !! Hubby keeps trying to buy me a new car and I keep saying,,no thanks !! I like my `01 Jeep !! Its simple,,on and off for all things !! Same with phones,, would take me too long to figure out all the "stuff" that I would not use !!

Well, if you have a cell phone, you can probably get WiFi and, a smart phone has 10 to 20 times more computer power as your dial up. The great thing about smart phones is, you can talk to "it" and, it will do what you tell it to do, no long term learning process. I predict if you try the new gadgets, you'll never go back, it's like the difference between B&W and color TV.

You realize of course that one day, in the not to distant future, you are going to be totally in the dark with that antique gear of yours. Better to get a leg up on that day and go to a retailer and just look at the stuff, I think you'll be surprised at what you have been missing.

Mart, you dont even have to type into a smart phone, you just speak, it transposes your speech into text. want your TV schedule? need info on upcoming events? SEARCH!!! translate language? need directions? all you gotta do is speak into phone, it handles all these plus many more automatically.
MAKE IT HAPPEN! :) and stop being a fuddy duddy ;)
