Title: Help w/ Identification ( What is it ?) > Cast Iron Handle ?? Dragon / Sea Serp

cast iron and painted red with black stripes.
It measures approx 4 3/4" long and is 3/4" wide.
Looks like either head of a dragon or sea serpent > Any help would be appreciated

It appears to me to be a “lift” handle or a “decorative” piece ….. but the angle between the two (2) screw/bolt holes has me confused as to what it was made to be attached to.

Angle of bolt holes are confusing me as well >
Thought it maybe some sort of "bag" holder

Appears to be maybe the decorative ironwork from a child's sled.

Found another pic on line after Googl'n "Antique decorative ironwork from a child's sled." and found this picture

I would never have thought of a sled.

I was thinking it might be a "connector" piece for a cast iron fence, railing, etc.
