cast iron and painted red with black stripes.
It measures approx 4 3/4" long and is 3/4" wide.
Looks like either head of a dragon or sea serpent > Any help would be appreciated
-
It appears to me to be a “lift” handle or a “decorative” piece ….. but the angle between the two (2) screw/bolt holes has me confused as to what it was made to be attached to.
-
Angle of bolt holes are confusing me as well >
Thought it maybe some sort of "bag" holder
-
Appears to be maybe the decorative ironwork from a child's sled.

Good call Rauville >
Found another pic on line after Googl'n "Antique decorative ironwork from a child's sled." and found this picture
Very similar ( Think ya nailed it !!! )

Excellent Rauville !! I don`t know how you find all these odd objects,, but I am glad you do !!
-
I would never have thought of a sled.
I was thinking it might be a "connector" piece for a cast iron fence, railing, etc.

Me either cogar! Cool piece! I could so upcycle this into something fun!
