Title: What happened??
Post by: dontbe on October 19, 2015, 09:40:43 am
I'm not sure.. but we have been offline for a while while I have been away. :(

Sorry about that guys.

???

Sometimes I wonder. If you need to get hold of me, my email is "unsecure@elser.net".

I will put that in the maintanance message.

Thanks!

regards, Ed

Ed,

Its looking better than it was, ...... that's for sure.

Now if you would per se re-install the "activity" message that displays "whose on-line & # of viewers" ....... I would apreciate it.

Cheers,

Sam C

And ps: I just noticed that the "browser" functionss (File, Edit, View, etc.) are in-activated when in this "Reply" mode.

Unless it is just a temporary "glitch" with my PC ..... being de-activated would prohibit one from using those important functions when posting to the forum.

I use "copy n' paste" just about every time I "post" commentary.

Ed, ignore the above.

I opened a "new window" and then uploaded AQF again and those edit functions were "activated". So, it t'was a glitch in my PC.

Mart, the message is automatic when the site goes into bypass.. To be honest, I dont know how the site got into bypass!! And I have clearly been neglegent in visiting (my excuse is we are commissioning a new project at work, and I have had little time to do anything ... but work)

I modified the message that automatically shows up to have my email AND phone number in it.. so feel free to call if it happens again. I want to know.

Thanks! Ed

Everyone I apologize as well.

I got the same message that ya'll did (that it was being worked on) and figured that Ed was stressed and working hard enough without me bugging him about when the site would be back up.

So....in the future, I will GLADLY bug Ed about the site!  :)

Again, sorry all!

KC

BUT  DOESN'T IT FEEL GOOD TO HAVE THE SITE BACK??????   My Family thanks you beyond measure Ed!  I was gettin' grouchy without my Antique-Shop fix!  :) 🙀😺

Yes, great to have it back! But please don't think that absence makes the heart grow fonder. I'm plenty fond of the site without another protracted absence!

Absence does NOT make the heart grow fonder in this case~! It just annoys everyone.. :)
But really, Even though It does not seem like it ( ::) ) the site is more stable than ever.. I just have to doll it up a bit with some new graphics.. That black gray and red logo dates back to the 1990's!! ! lol.
