Title: Vintage Green Suitcase
Post by: Pelady on July 13, 2016, 04:48:36 pm
Hi Everyone,

Having a yard sale. I have seen these in print ads, comercials, movies.  Checked sold listing -individual cases in this color and vintage sell on eBay between 30 and seventy dollars.  What do you think I could ask at a yard sale for the set?

If they're as nice as they look I'd price them sat about $130, then barter down to secure the sale if necessary.

I would say start high and barter down.  A nice set in mint condition would be worth $130.

Pelady, I agree with KC!!!  The co!or alone will sell!!!  Check them out online for sale and then set your price for someone to buy for re-sell.  My sister sells vintage items on etsy and she would definitely buy these.  Many people are still using them as decor pieces.  I love them myself and if I had them, would use them for travel and decor!!!

Thanks Everyone,

Jlsherf, I have used them as luggage and stacked the 3 together as an end table but that was at least 15 years ago.

Time for a change, I get it.  They are still very cool!

Pelady, they are also worth more if the all of the brass fronts are still intact on the latches!  You see so many these days that the latches are missing!
