Some more of this weeks finds. A lovely pair of brockwitz art deco (c1930's) pressed glass fruit bowls with serpent/fish handles. In very nice condition no chips or cracks. Here is a link to the 1941 brockwitz catalogue http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Brockwitz-1941.86+B6YmFja1BJRD04NiZwcm9kdWN0SUQ9MzczMiZwaWRfcHJvZHVjdD04NiZkZXRhaWw9.0.html The Brockwitz factory was established in 1903 in the town of Brockwitz (near Dresden), Germany. For several years, starting around 1915, Brockwitz produced a large range of Carnival Glass. In the 1930's and 1940's, Brockwitz made some fantastic Art Deco glassware, most of which was featured in their large 1941 catalogue. Not much is known about Brockwitz production after the end of World War 2. Car boot sale find £4 the pair, bargain!
