Title: Painting Found in Grandmother's Attic-help identifying

Hey all

I found this painting in my grandmother's attic after she passed and none of us have any clue where it came from, the artist, etc.  If anyone has any information then I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Is this painting on canvas ??  Take a pic of the back please !!

Yes it is. The back is old (nails to hold the canvas, browned, etc.) I'll take a pic as soon as I can but it may be a week or so.

So benbenny007 did you have a auction house look at your painting to tell you other wise? What actual evidence do you have to prove they are wrong? I don't want to start this all over again, but I know Icpress is pretty accurate.

Thats fine !!  We will be here !!  What is your location ??  May be a local artist,, can`t make heads or tails of that signature !!

At first glance, that signature looks like maybe Taylor??????

You know Rauville it does look kind of like Taylor with it on its side !!  But when I enlarge it and its upright its back to being gibberish !! Looking at the little girls hair style reminds me of 1930`s/40`s Buster Brown styles !!  Waiting on pics of the back  !!
