Title: Vintage Original Women Clothing Drawings,Sakowitz Store,Initial "AS"

About 17 years ago,I bought a lot of old items from a woman with a bus load of items.I found a stack of original drawings from Sakowitz Store,1111 Main Houston.One has initial "AS" "79.Some has sample cloth attached to them.Anybody have any information for this store or who "AS" is..

I have no idea as to the "designer/illustrator", but you should read the book for the lowdown on the family.
