Hi all, one of the many things I have recently acquired via an estate lot is this Japanese model car cigarette lighter. I am just after any advice around how old this would be and any info about it. There isn't any distinguishing company marks on it (unless I'm missing something) and is in really very good condition which makes it difficult to tell if this is indeed old or just a random collectable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This measures about 24cm long, so is quite big.

The undercarriage looks very modern. Is it plastic?
-
Yes, the bottom is plastic, the top feels like a diecast type metal
-
With the plastic bottom it isn't as desirable for collectors as the full metal and older ones.
You might try researching Novelty Cigarette Lighters. Also look through Tobacciana and smoking collectibles.

Looks like a recent collectible.

Thank you, appreciate your help
