Title: Can someone help me date this painting

Assuming the painting is oil on stretched canvas. You can try looking for the watermark on canvas ®. The old holding the painting over bright light (sunlight if possible) trick. With a good angle you should see watermark and search date from that. Good luck!

Your pics are not very sharp so can`t tell detail but my guess is a traveling artist late 1800`s !! But thats just a guess from the little I can see !! Much depends on how it was stored and where !!
