Title: 1950's Wrought Iron & Wicker Magazine Holder
Post by: robij45 on November 06, 2019, 01:16:27 PM
I purchased the magazine rack at a high end estate sale midsummer. There were many French and Italian treasures. I have looked for several months trying to find this magazine holder. I have found similar ones made by artists with high pricing. If it is one it will need some restoration. Any help will be appreciated! Thank you!

Yes,, saw this on the other site !!  But for every designer piece,, there are a dozen or more look-a-likes !!  A little wrought iron and wicker does not make it valuable,, you need a name !!

Don’t worry it happens to some of the old hands on the site also. Love the design of your item. Can’t help with any info on it but somebody on the site will.

Yes,, the designers purpose was to get others to buy their items !!  How would they know if no name was attached ??  I mean you can  say " in the style of" but no real way to be certain if you are getting the real thing or a similar styled knock-off !!
