Hi!
I found this in some things of my 94 year old aunt. It is heavy metal and measures about 4" across the round top. It looks like it is broken off at the bottom.

A beautiful piece of glass.
It looks to me like the bottom was not broken ….. but made that way so as to be used as a “funnel” for whatever mixture was poured/placed in the top of it and the liquid portion would drip/flow through the “holes” in the inside partition separating the top half from the bottom half.
The “holes” in the partition can be seen in the 1st photo.
It resembles a “flower” of an epergne vase, to wit:

If holes were larger and you had the base I would guess a flower frog ! Can`t tell the size of the holes !! Could still be part of an epergne` !!
