I just inherited this heavily gilded plate & I haven't been able to find the symbol on the back in any references I've tried so far. I was really hoping someone here would know this mark & be able to tell me what it means/who it is.
Also, my grandma had her name & address taped to the back for many years & it has left a residue. Would it be ok to use a little Goo Gone or orange oil with a paper towel or soft cloth just on the sticky spot to get the residue off? Or how should I go about that?
I have photos below.
Thanks for any help!!!

It's heavily gilded, all the darker areas are distinctly raised.
Any ideas at all? Really don't know where to start!
