Title: Tea set dated 1777, german made

 ;) The tea set is 22 pieces cake plate and all. We are trying to find out its value. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much....

UH, ..... dated 1777 ......

That is most probably a Pattern #, .... not a date.

I will agree with cogar.if it's marked ( germany) we could say it was produced after the mc kinley act of 1891.
but records show germany was printed as early as 1890.
