Title: Flow blue? What are these?
Post by: tiquergirl06 on May 22, 2008, 09:31:54 am
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with these. Some people have said that they might be eggcups, some say napkin rings, and some say inserts for something. I have researched them quite a
bit, with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks so much. OH, and any idea on age?

I can't see the picture very clearly but the pattern appears to be

Blue Willow.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry about the pics. I am just learning. Any idea of what they might be, or age? Thanks again.

tiquer, the Blue Willow pattern has been produced for many years, since 1784, by many different manufacturers as noted here....  http://ezinearticles.com/?Collecting-and-History-of-Blue-Willow-China-List-of-Companies-That-Produce&id=517968

so your best bet is to Google "Blue Willow" and see if you can find a match.

Here, .... http://www.bluewillowchina.com/product.php?item=78

to give you an idea of the variety of things.

ps: when posting a picture of such an item always give its dimensions, .... height, width, etc.
