ANy idea where they came from? Look like they could be pole toppers - are they brass?
-
It could be from roman or greek time, but I am not entirely sure. My guess is that its bronze. What do you think it is? I don't have these pieces on me, but I do have them back home. All I have are these pictures.

Hello Ahmed:
The fact that you have 5 of the exact same item makes me doubt that they are actually that old. That long ago one of those would have been decoration enough for a given item. how would 5 stay together?
pure speculation on my part... but you have to wonder.
-
Yes that could be true, and also I forgot to mention that those 5 pieces are the size of an index finger. What do you guys think about the other pieces?
-
Probably wrong but sure looks like they would make great chess pieces, Maybe son kind of game pieces. Do they stand up on there own?
-
the one that is in two pieces is the most interesting. can you tell how it was supposed to stay together?
(the holes on the bottom are intriguing. )

Sorry dontbe, I should have said something more about that piece.
When both pieces are put together the complete piece acts as a key, that's what the holes are there for. I guess back then this piece was used to open something. Basically one person would keep one half and someone else would keep the other half. So again, when there put together, voila!. Hope this helps.
