Title: HELP IDENTIFY THIS ORIENTAL PANEL PLEASE :(

I HAVE THIS WALL PANEL FOR OVER A YEAR NOW.. I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ITS ORIGINS AND HOW MUCH ITS WORTH BUT WOULD LOVE TO KNOW AS I'M VERY FOND OF THIS OBJECT..

ALL HELP WILL BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

i did some research on it and think it might be from the qing dynasty but i might be wrong. the characters are all carved stone and inlaid in the wood panel. i think it might be jade or jadeite or even soap stone but i'm not sure. and i'm new to antiques.. all help welcomed...  :)

Can you give us some information as to how you came into possession of this?  History?

Also posting it's size would help , dianareena .

I'm curious if the adhesive (under where the missing piece was) has got 'grit' (sand) in it , or not .

it was given to my husband by his brother who found it at the dump where he works. It measures about 55cm*15cm and there is no residue in the carved part where a piece is missing. It has a marking at the back which has been scratched on before it was painted but can't see it very well. It's a friend of mine who suggested it might be an antique.
