An antique dealer wants to buy this from my mom and is stopping by later today. She has no idea what it's worth and I thought I'd ask here. It's not a real painting, I think it's called an oil reproduction. The outside dimensions are approximately 37 inches width, 31 height. The inner (artwork) dimensions are 19 inches by 25.

I would just get an estimate of what the dealer is willing to pay...and never sell on the first day. Always research.
Picture looks like the style of 40 - 50's. You said it is an oil painting? Any signature on pic? On back?
Great picture by-the-way!

Oh, it's not a real painting. It's like a print that's made to look like a painting? On ebay they seem to be called oil reproductions. I think the frame is early 20th century?

It sounds like you are looking more for the value of the frame itself, which is very nice. Take it to a place that frames artwork and sells frames and ask them about it. Compare it to frames they have. Good luck.
