Title: 3 Muses???
Post by: loneoaktrader on September 02, 2009, 06:55:00 pm
I bought a statue of 3 young women this past week end. The are stranding shoulder to shoulder forming a triangle and holding hands. Two are fully clothed and the third as her bossoms exposed. My wife thinks they are Muse or Greek Goddess. I haven't been able to find out anything on the net so far. I found this forum today and though maybe some one would know something.(http://)

There are no markings on the bottom and the material it's made of is more like plaster and not ceramic.

Kind of like "The Three Faces of Eve"......representing 3 stages or multiple personalities?

Not that it seems Celtic, how about the 3 Aspects of the triple Godess, having to do with the moon
phases, growing seasons or the three phases of a woman's life? Best Regards, Nicolle
