Title: Help with identifying these Japanese/Chinese plates
Post by: Mistymaz on March 10, 2010, 02:58:39 am
Hi, I don't really know anything about these plates, except that they were bought at a car boot sale about 40 years ago. Each of the 3 plates are also slightly different as they are clearly hand painted. Any information would be great.

Thanks,
Marie

These plates appear to be Japanese, but as far as the marking on the back, I'm afraid I'm unsure.

I would be interested in knowing what a "car boot sale" is?

It's similar to what Americans call a flea Market, except in the UK we call it a Car Boot sale or Jumble sale.
