Title: E-bay completed auctions
Post by: kerrybee on March 01, 2004, 07:36:06 pm
Beginning at about Jan 1, 2004, e-bay changed its policy,  unless you are an e-bay member, you can't access completed auctions.  Not necessarily an active member, but a member nonetheless.

From another site to which I post, there was a report perhaps commissioned by e-bay, perhaps not, but the gist was that appraisers/self-appraisers were using e-bay to determine values.

I used it as a tool.  Sometimes their prices were not at all in line with my own locality.

I miss it.  I almost became an e-bay member until they wanted my credit or debit card numbers.   I have bought from the internet, but from vendors who take postal money orders.

You mentioned that because of creditcard # you didnt want to apply?
If you sign up for paypal www.paypal.com that would not allow the sellers to get your info. I have used it for several years. I use it for business.

Oh, thank you 10 million times.  Muchas Gracias.  Danke Schoen.  Merci Beaucoup.  And any other languages I can fracture.  LOL.  You are so smart.  This site is already in My Favorites.
