I would hug all those people throughout history that made it so that we are currently not living in the communist states of america.

Great posts!

I'm grateful to be alive, and thank all  past and present who have enabled me to live. 

A friend of mine whose parents were in WW2 observed casually, "How lucky we are!  No one is trying to kill us.  We are not trying to live on the run knowing that capture means death.  We have enough (or too much) to eat.  We can sleep with out fear of night arrest."

I have never forgotten he way he delivered those few words.

Thank God for those that took care of us!!!!  Thank you to their families for all of the hardships they went through!
