I have a very nice antique drill press by Can Blower & Forge Co. Ltd.
Serial # 4431
I've been trying to find its value and have had little to no luck sofar.
Its a wonderful unit and is fully functional.

Some help figuring out its value would be greatly appreciated.

Your drill press was made by a Canadian subsidiary of Buffalo Forge , Buffalo NY .
Using the definition of antique (items of 100 years or more) would not be correct for your unit , in advertising its' sale .
"Vintage" would be a more accurate description , IMO .
One thing that will influence savvy drillpress buyers is the condition of the bearings in such units .
"Sloppy" headstock/shaft bearings are something that folks doing precision drilling would shy away from .
You could measure the bearing/shaft wear 'slop' , with a dial indicator , at the chuck end of your drillpress , and post this info in your ad for it (will either weed-out or attract buyers) .
Perhaps you could contact the Buffalo Forge Company to see if replacement bearings are still available for it , should the question arise from a potential buyer .
I certainly does appear to be quite a nice heavy-duty unit , with solid castings !
