This is a solid wood lamp , with a anchor logo on the front.. Made in the U.S. , and seems to have good value.. Has Wescal on the brass , along with underwritter labortaries ... The ropes on the sides which are nicely designed are very tight , works great.. Picked it up at a thrift shop for $4
Wondering how much around it would be worth?

I'm having a hard time finding info on Wescal. It's not this one, because they were incorporated only 2 years ago.

To me, it's looks 1970's-ish in design. Are you able to post a picture of the end of the cord? Neat lamp, really unique. I imagine it in a cool bar or restaurant with a nautical theme. ;)
Welcome, by the way!

thank you :) ,
I thought it was a pretty kickbutt lamp , and was well worth the price.. Im having a very hard time finding any information on it , or what its value might even be hoovering around..
Here is a picture of the End Cord.

Here's a similar one, but not as cool as yours. Looks like it could be the same company though. I think they're wrong about 1950's. I'm thinking 60's-70's.

We'll have to watch and see what theirs goes for. Either way, good deal for 4 bucks. What's most important is that you like it. In my neck of the woods, it'd probably bring $50. Maybe more if a restaurant or bar down on the waterfront wanted it.

HOTROB999, would you love it more or less if the value was less than what you paid? If you love it, the value means nothing. If you want to resell it, then the value means everything.
