I have this Cobalt Blue Cut to Clear Lead Crystal (Etched) Bowl that I received from my father as a Wedding gift. It doesn't have any markings or labels and I am curious to know if anyone has any information such as origin, designer etc,.
Bowl Measures Approximately 6 1/2" in Diameter and is quit heavy. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Thank you Omega... And ironlord, you gave me a starting point anyways, thanks. Knew I could count on you ;D

Angel I believe you have a piece produced by Lausitzer Glashutte AG made in the German Democratic republic (East Germany) Pieces produced by them had only a sticker as a makers mark. They produced beautiful lead crystal pieces. Try searching Lausitzer glass / crystal and see what you can find. good luck ;)

Yes indeed Wendy177, it is a Bohemian Lausitzer Cut Crystal Cobalt Bowl Made In Germany. I found one with a slight variation on the placement of the roses otherwise it's exact. I have had possession of this bowl for 16 years and finally I know it's History. Thank you so much, everyone for your help. I truly appreciate it. Now, on to yet another mystery object that I am dying to know all about.
I LOVE THIS WEBSITE!! ;D
