Title: McCoy Cookie Pot
Post by: smile4katie on May 31, 2011, 07:58:56 am
A Vintage :)
I know it was made for one year in 1974 and supposedly hard to find. I have seen a few online, but at least one of them was NOT original at all.

Interestingly, I found this one on Go Antiques, no price and I think that it's been sold, but they say that theirs was made in 1962 - 1964, and the 1974 was very similar. Take a look at theirs and compare it with yours.... if you haven't already that is  ;D

And yet can't find this one listed under cookie jars on the McCoy site!  But it has been a long day at work.. so it's probably me!

That's actually pretty neat. Although they are collectable, I haven't been a big fan of most McCoy cookie jars, but I like this one!

I agree, I have never been a cookie jar fan period but it is neat. Totally not me though! My parents gave it to me and it sits in a box, the poor darn thing hee hee
