Title: Antique Dental Item
Post by: ClutcH385 on June 05, 2011, 11:14:22 pm
Hey Everybody,

I found a Die Plate for making crowns or flase teeth I guess in my grandparents house. My Great grandfather was a dentist in the early 1900s. I actually found another of the exact same item but it doesn't tell me what the auction ended up at.

Was wondring if anyone has any idea on the value of this.

Here's the pics and link to the one I found online.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Now that is a pretty unique item, very cool! I see that the auction was in 2007, so the price will be very innacurate. It could be much higher or lower than it would sell for today. Dental items are pretty collectible, as is all old medical stuff. I guess we need someone on here with a worthpoint account. Welcome, by the way!

Cool, thanks a lot guys!

Stupid question: Where did you see what it sold for? All I see is an estimate and starting bid. Thanks.

One must login to the liveauctioneers' site to get prices. I am registered on that site so I have access to prices.
