Title: What is this metal box?
Post by: beccaboo0713 on August 05, 2011, 08:44:45 am: So, I have a thing for bottles and boxes. I picked up this one the other day at a flea market. Since then I have been trying to figure out what it says on the side. So far I have determined that it says 'Special Serum Vaccine _______________'. Anyone here that can shed any insight into what this is? Thanks so much!

(oh and I upped the contrast on the picture of the print to help decipher it better) '

A few seconds later the rest get the joke on their slower phones and start laughing. Been there, done that except it was usually a joke someone told in person and it took awhile to sink in. ;D

Post by: KC on August 05, 2011, 03:23:46 pm: The compartmentalized boxes generally had one compartment for the vaccines/meds and one for the ice since it was a transport item. They used to use these on trains/planes many, many years ago but these days they are hardened cases with Styrofoam on mass transportation.
