Title: Help identifying antique dog?
Post by: jonirob on November 12, 2011, 06:40:26 AM
:) Hello. I would like help please. I have an antique ceramic brown and white dog, circa 1750. From England on the First Fleet ( paying customers!!! ) to Australia. About 30cm high. Maybe a Cavalier King Charles. No chips or marks or damage at all. Any ideas of value at all? Thanks very much.

LIke others said....need pictures...and detailed pictures with any markings on them or the insides of the pieces (whether glazed or not).

There are alot of knockoffs of these because they are very collectible!

My good friend's father is a antique dealer. He gave her one for a gift. I was admiring it on Friday. Hers in made in Austria. If I remember correctly. He was joking to her about buying it back, lol
