The Brig o Balgownie, Scotland, Frank Neville print
« on: October 16, 2013, 08:43:00 pm »
Hello,
Hoping someone can help discover what the value of this Neville print is?
I have been searching the internet for hours tonight and not for the first time. I find his land scapes and one or two sea scapes but not this print. A Canadian site had it but it either has sold or is buried in pages I have not searched yet.
This print is on substantial paper. The print has the feel of chalk. It is beautiful.
Thank you!

Where  Avril and I stay...we are 10mins drive...from the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park,....no trains no buses...just single track roads...with no street lights...its a great place for collecting road-kill....i.e. pheasants..rabbits, deer,...and the odd sheep.....oh, and dead end roads....15 miles up a glen...and back the way you came...2 views of the same road....great....

where we stayed prior to moving here...our nearest neighbour was 1/2 a mile away,...and the main road was 1 mile away, there was a rural bus service....4 buses weekdays, 2 on a Sat/Sun,now that we are in the city...population 7,900....its called a city, but its the size of a small town....the reason its called a city..is because we have a cathedral...the street that we now stay in has only 20 houses and we are near the end of the street...and to get out we have to go back the way we came in...therefore...no cars/...pass our house...because there is no way out....its like living in the countryside but with everything on our doorstep...and Avril is only 1/8th of a mile from her work...

if you're asking me I'd laugh.. Can't believe they get paid to play games.  Don't care what sport.  Just me.

This is a favourite walk for Avril and I and our dog Bess...again this area is only 10minutes drive from our house...you enter the woods through "The Blue Door"....which is a blue painted wooden door set into a red sandstone wall...in the middle of nowhere....Mart would be right at home here.. ;D...the walk takes you beside a gorge which the River Esk runs through...its a 3 hour walk...to the Rocks of Solitude...
