Hi everyone, im glad to see that a forum like this exist as it is sometimes very hard to find the info required on items I receive. A little background my gran ever so often receives a bunch of glassware and other goodies that she lets the grandchildren look through if there is anything we want. This mixing bowl caught my eye, its a beautiful piece hardly any damage what so ever, the problem is i cant seem to find any info on it, on the bottom its marked "Made in England" on the bottom of that it has the number 9 and then an impressed trade mark looking like 2 possibly 3 letters almost on top of each other. This is where the problem comes in if i cant identify the trademark i cant identify whether the item is valuable or just a really nice mixing bowl:) At first i thought it was a Mason Cash mixing bowl as they look very similar but it is not. If there is anyone who can help identifyl the trademark i would grately appreciate it.
Im 23 from South Africa and I say hello to all :)
The photos of the bottom have been edited to enhance the lettering

Welcome to the forum! I'm thinking the mark looks like an "ALP" or "APL", at least that's my interpretation of it. I have been searching a bit and can't find the mark yet. Hopefully others can chime in and help us both out! :)

Seems that is the only one to fit to date, if your correct this piece was made between 1901-1918 as this is the only info i can find on Anchor Porcelain Ltd. I cant find any backstamp/trademark on the internet though. Thanks for the help

This may help a bit, the style of your bowl is considered "Belleek", this style was big in Ireland, have not got a chance to look for the hallmark, but thought this may help a bit in the search.
